      The Jetty 2 Jetty Fun Run is the place to be this The Jetty 2 Jetty Fun Run is the place to be this Sunday!! The Jetty 2 Jetty is an annual running event at Woody Point in Redcliffe, Queensland with a 21km half marathon and 3km, 5km & 10km fun run/walk events. All events start at Crockatt Park, following the waterfront North, before looping back at the half way point to the start/finish area. Each event has a different turnaround point. Moreton Bay Road Runners will be volunteering out on course, at the finish line, as pacers, giving out registration bibs at Rebel and at the registration tent and more on Sunday. We had runners in the half marathon, marathon, 10km and even some of the kids took part in the 2km dash.       Congratulations to June MBRR Member of the Month, Congratulations to June MBRR Member of the Month, Steve Harris, who celebrated in style Saturday 3rd June at Sandgate reaching a milestone 500 parkruns. Members of our Club surprised Steve with a large group to cheer Steve on-course and at the finish (time 24:32). Sandgate is Steve's local where he has completed 282 runs. This slow running is increased gradually, and will depend on what type of running you are doing.     Moreton Bay Road Runners have proudly run the Jetty 2 Jetty since 1986. Held each July this event attracts almost 5,000 competitors across the 21km/10km/5km/3km distances. This years J2J is on Sunday 16th July.
