As you know, Geoff Williams’ wife, Betty, passed away last Monday evening after battling a long illness.
A service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held on:
Tuesday 20th October at 11.00 am
Great Northern Garden of Remembrance
Tallowood Drive, Deception Bay
Geoff has asked that we come along in bright colours (or our club shirts) with joy in our stride, as we farewell this remarkable lady in the manner in which she lived her life.
The club will be making a donation in Betty’s name to the Drought Appeal for those doing it tough out west in lieu of flowers as per Geoff’s request. He has said that Betty would love to know that some benefit has come from her life.
We hope to see you there to say our goodbyes and give thanks for her life.
